Pete Faulkner
Pete developed a love for trail running during a brief period spent competing in the Obstacle Course Racing scene. It was running in the hills that really excited him, so he turned his hand to trail and mountain racing, tackling ever-increasing distances and more challenging terrain.
It was during a trip to the Alps with TARC in 2019 that Pete really found his tribe: exploring the beautiful mountains of the Aosta valley with like-minded people was enough to inspire a move to the Lake District in order to pursue an outdoor-oriented lifestyle and surround himself with similar people. Passionate about sharing his love for the mountains, Pete trained and qualified as a Mountain Leader, and loves nothing more than taking people into the hills to experience the wonders that can be found.
If he’s not on two feet, he can be found on two wheels mountain biking or with a paddle in hand kayaking and paddle-boarding somewhere in The Lakes: the playground he now calls home.
It’s well documented that Pete will run anywhere for ice cream….
